Thanks agin to all of you for the prayers and well wishes. G got it pretty right. They told me normally you would have a small pocket of diverticulosis. Yet my colon is completely full of it. He said that most likely was what caused the bleeding. He said it is one of those things where it can start the bleeding and then stop on its own. Lots of water every day, lots of fiber but worst of all no more spicy food. They told me according to the blood readings that I had lost roughly 2 liters of blood Saturday and yesterday around 2 pints. I had never heard of the word diverticulosis before. This is an intimation of the colon walls totally different from diverticulitis which cause cramps, pain and fever. As I learn more this can be very dangerous. Scared me pretty good this time. Thank the good Lord they didn’t find any cancer which was my biggest fear. Once again Thanks to all of you for your prayers. I know the Lord is why I’m home right now with out any more issues than I have.

charlie, my dad had it and the biggest bad thing, so they told him, is anything with nuts of any kind in it. take care of yourself. where else in the ell can i go to for boat advice...

Cray, I'm praying for you. I also have diverticulitis. Hits me once or twice a year. No where as bad as what you experienced, but weakens and dehydrates you. Mine usually lasts a few days. Hard to eat right. But please try and I will too. Your friend "D"
