When I opened the lid on it before throwing the steaks on she had pegged the thermometer. Enovator teaching me how to use this thing. Threw them on, seared on each side for about 2 minutes. Then shut the lid, closed the dampers completely off and cooked about 5-6 minutes. Came out perfect.
Looks good. All you need is a cobbler to top that off with a cup of coffe.
Awesome Gift! I got a Big Green Egg last year and it is the cat's meow for everything. My wife loves the steaks(reverse seared) and pizza the best. My large BGE will also hold a 10lb bag of chicken quarters that is my favorite.
