I use Steel Belted Radials on my 16' ProCraft's trailer ... 175/80R13 8ply Load Range D ... 65psi ... highway speed rated @ 65mph (boat weighs over 1700lbs alone, plus a 90HP Merc )
Both the Kenda's I had on there previously, and the Raniers I have on there now, list 65psi (*cold).
Most all the lakes I go to are a minimum 1.5hr trip each way, and most are Parkway or Interstate hwys for a good portion of the mileage.
I think the latest model Kenda tires of that size are listed at 70psi

this is why i do exactly what john suggested. put your hand on the hub when you get to the lake or destination and every time you stop on longer trips. should be no heat detected if bearings are working properly. that hub was probably getting warm when you got to the lake that day..
I run max pressure in mine. Unless I have a problem I check it 4-5 times per year. Im running pro max tires now. They are rated for 65 mph[emoji51][emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]
Also, if you use the boat much, they suggest changing trailer tires every year, not when the tread is gone. The sidewalls will break down before you wear out the tread.

I run Kumho's at 65psi. They're rated for 90mph and I'll pull them at 75 or 80.
