Default PROBLEMS WITH HELIX 7 DI

THIS IS MY THIRD ONE . FIRST ONE WAS PROBABLY MY DOINGS . THE MOTOR WAS NOT CHARGING AND IT WOULD RUN BATTERY DOWN QUICK . AFTER LIKE THIRD TIME IT WOULD SHUT DOWN AND NOT COME BACK ON . WELL DIDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO RESET IT TILL I HAD TOOK IT BACK . SECOND ONE WORKING DECENT AND IT JUST QUIT SHOWING THE DEPTH . I ALSO FIXED MOTOR PROBLEM AND REPLACED ALL BATTERIES . AND NOW I HAVE MY TWO DEPTH FINDERS ON A BATTERY BY THEM SELVES . TOOK THE ONE BACK WITH NO DEPTH SHOWING . GOT A NEW ONE AGAIN . THE DEPTH COMES AND GOES ON IT . I HAVE CHECK ALL MY WIRING AND CHANGED THE TRANSDUCER AND I JUST CAN SEEM TO GET IT WORKING . I HAVE BEEN OUT THERE REDOING THE WIRES AND I JUST DON'T KNOW ?
    CATCH THEM ALL.

I would post this over on the main forum, under the fishing electronics and photography board. Maybe rnvinc can give you a few ideas to try. I had problems on my 7 with reading depth on Arkabutla not once, but twice this year. It would keep going up and down on depth readings varying several feet at a time, I wrote it off to trash in the lake cause it would be fine anywhere else I went.

I've got a Helix 7 DI also. I cut my transducer cable with my Terrova and bought a new trolling motor transducer. Since then, the water temp isn't displayed and the fish ID isn't working. Hopefully its just a bad transducer.
