Nice ride! I bet it's not as thirst as a early 2000's 250 or 225 efi. You'll like the verado. Quietest of the big outboards for sure! Find you a service center in advance. Not all merc dealers service them, so I hear.

My Verado has been great. Mine was a first generation and is a little thirsty. They say the newer ones are much better on fuel.

Looking good bro. Glad you on one now....... I rode in a 20'10" bass cat last night it was smooth as silk . It also had that merc 300 on it. Sweet ride fer sho.

Go on ahead and get it! I'm heading out Wednesday morning after work to get that one with the 300xs. It's a pretty hard loaded rig for the money.
