I've been looking for rod socks/covers to keep my rods from beating together during transport without breaking down.... can't find anything over 8'. Something like this
VRX Fishing Rod Glove Casting Model | TackleDirect
Should I just get some wire loom and zip ties and make my own?

[SIGPIC]Drake Waterfowl Prostaff, Dakota Decoys Prostaff,F&F Boats, Mercury Marine, Rig Em Right, Crappie Logic Jigs, Slab Bandits, Hayes Calls, and Kick's Choke Tubes.
I use the rubberized wire and it works well. put two on and it does the job.
I have several...really you don't need any quite that long..p/m me, and I will send pictures, ect. I don't. Use them, and will make you a deal....Got mine when I first started from a crappie guide in KY
I have some of those and still want a little barrier between the rods. Had one break Saturday and only thing I can think of to make it break that easy was contact from another rod and lots of vibration. Just trying to get the most mileage out of these dang high dollar rods

Foam pipe insulation?
Search Results forĀ*foam pipe insulationĀ*at The Home Depot
Just looking for something to slide over the top of the rods between home and the lake. I'm already about to put a section of the insulation on my tip saver
