    Default New battery

Bought a new deep cycle battery from Auto Zone for my TM. Disappointed in it. It sure ain't as strong or long lasting like my old gel deep cycle was. Thinking about seeing if they will take it back.

It must not be the same amp size and reserve amp hr rating as your old one was then

What was your old one? What is your new one? Compare them when you know that, and you'll get your answer. You know, amp size, reserve amp size, hr ratings. 2 plus 2 is still four. Make sure you're comparing apples to batteries. And my best guess is ....NO.... they won't take it back.

Your right, no go on the take back. They will credit purchase price toward a 1000 amp gel which is what I had. But still that is an extra $90.

Guess I'll keep this one. It was one of those decisions you make when you've just come off the water with a dead battery and intended to go back fishing the next day.

Did it die on you your first time out? I have 2 batteries (bought on sale from Bass Pro) but mine will usually last several trips (depending on length) before I need to recharge.
