Then take the full refund and move on, kills me on these new batteries their pushing. And now a warranty is crap on paper, they go in stages first 6 months 75% refund , first year 25% , first two years 5%.. or some crap. Used to batteries last 5 years easy, now you lucky if you get a year out or two out of em'
My last batteries went 3 years and it was my fault not keeping them charged as I should for a while. But this is nuts, they are hooked up to a charger as soon as the boat is pulled back into the driveway

Same problem drove me nuts few weeks ago. Bought 2 new group 31's last May...9 months old now and only used them 6 or 7 times. TM had some issues last time out. I put them on a load tester, and one of the 3 showed weak. Took it back and they tested it and said it was good....they would not exchange it. I'm kinda paranoid, gonna buy a new one and replace it......but not from them. This kind of stuff can drive you insane, lol.
May just re up and get new ones... name brand ones. Going to go to auto zone and get another load test done

Checked the battery this morning, seems to have charged overnight. Any advice on checking my charger? Seems my second bank may be the issue

I think you need another trip to the lake, run em down some and see what it does. :scratchhead:scratchhead:scratchhead
that's what im thinking. Again, it may have been dead as a hammer and just taken a while to get back up to snuff. Still may relocate my batteries so I have a little more room for 31's. Running 27s now and think they bigger batteries may help me on the days im on the tm constantly. Will give me some extra 27s i may try to rig up for on board air pump, radio and all that jazz
If they did finally charge over night I dont see where the charger would be the issue..... Maybe do like rees said and run em down again and try it.... The parts house guys can be a pain to deal with sometimes. There battery testers are junk sometimes.... Tell them you want the printout showing it was good..... I had a solenoid go bad on a starter i bought from a parts house a couple years ago and the guy testing it was bypassing the solenoid and telling me it was good and I tried to explain to him he was bypassing the solenoid.... It took them calling in a manager to get the thing replaced.
If your battery got to low, the digital charges have trouble reading and charging them. I would take Rees' advise and cycle them a few times. Your charger has a lot to do with how they charge also. A 5 amp charger will take quite awhile to charge a really weak battery. Sometimes 24-48 hours.
