Interested in Coldwater/Butla

Hey I moved from Jackson MS last year to Nesbit, and now that crappie seasons fast approaching, I'm interested in learning this area. PM me if willing to teach me about the area. I'd really be interested in wading as I prefer single rod fishing. I can give you plenty of help on Barnett or Eagle, but don't know first thing about this area..

Hey Ben, welcome to the north.
Butla can be hard to fish. The lake is at low pool for now, got to watch for bars.
Tadpole's in Hernando offer better minnows than Outfitters in Eudora. JnJ's will be offering minnows later, hwy 301 just south I-69.
Read the regs for the big four. The spillway/Elbow creek can be a good place to single pole, no size limit there.
Look at the Barnett Bash and join if you can.
