best crawdad dinner ever had was at VFW hall lucked into in Jackson MS and they were from LA. along with the potatoes and corn and cold beer? even my picky teenage daughter ate a huge mess of them and had to go back for more.

It's just soaking the live crawfish in a heavy salt brine before cooking. Causes the crawfish to purge there bowels and such. Makes for a cleaner flavor.

Nice!! I've had crawdads twice this year. The first was a great little place in south ms. the second was at Rosey Baby's in Starkville. Recommended by an acquaintance. It was a was terrible, don't waste your money.

I've had crawfish three times this year. Twice while in Louisiana. They were great!! Little place just across the 33 bridge in Farmersville were awesome. Best ones I've ever eaten.
