Anyone use them? Do you like or dislike it? Thanks for any reply!
Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

I have a 19 qt I use and I like it. I even sit on it sometimes amd it is holding up well. I dont use the air pump on the cooler I have it mounted under the console and have a longer hose that comes out on the deck so I dont have to listen to the pump noise, and I only have to use that in the hot summer.

I'm thinking about gettin one at the Grizzly jig show this weekend if it's on sale. Thinking about the 30qt for the pontoon! Or 3 16 foot ozark rods. Depends on which one has the best sale going on.

I will make a suggestion, take it for what it worth. Order you 3 Southern Crappie rods from Ed Dukes in the 16 and you'll save around 50 bucks on the 3 poles, use the 50 saved toward you an Engel, think my 30 quart was around 80 bucks from Grizzly.
As far as the poles, Grizzly may have them on sale but if not the Ozarks have gotten pricey and I simply prefer the Southern Crappie rod over them. Both are stout but, in my opinion, the Southern rod has a more sensative tip. Little food for thought to stretch your bucks a little bit.

I ordered 3 southern crappie rods to fish side by side with my ozarks, tons of good reviews. Just can't beat the Deal they give ya, and hear they are great quality. Minnow cooler will help out a ton once it heats up! That's on my to-buy list, don't think you'll go wrong either way.

Where do you find Southern rods. I have looked and can't find them. Guess I have not looked in the right place yet.
