Thread: I hate snow!

Well after sitting at the light in a busy intersection when my truck just started sliding from a complete stop with the brake on just because of a slight incline. I locked her in 4wd. Be safe out there!

You guys have more snow than we do. Supposed to be 9 degrees here tonight.

We had the 1st measurable snow of the new year Wednesday night. I-24 looked like a demolition derby Thursday morning. Folks were either running 30 mph or 70 mph. I think folks forget how to drive on it from year to year.

Well it got me a day off work, problem is I didn't go to deer camp last night cause figured it wouldn't do anything. So woke up this morning at 5am and wasn't willing to turn a 45 minute drive into 3 hours.. lol. I may try to leave this afternoon. If not I'm stuck in the house all day today and tomorrow. So yeah snow sucks in places were towns aren't equipped to deal with it. And the idiot drivers are scary, I went to the store earlier and had to put it in 4wd also, the idiots in 2wd cars and trucks flying all over the place, but was deterring them any..

I'm staying in until I need to get out. Only thing I can think of is 4 deliveries due today. One from UPS, FedX and 2 from USPS. May need to walk to the mailbox.

A trip to the bathroom this morning to hear a drip from somewhere. I turned on the light and started looking and listening. The drip is coming from the tub, nothing I can see. I planned to get dressed and crawl under the house. Turning around I moved the trashcan from the side of the tub. The drip stopped. It's the low battery warning on the magic lid can echoing in the tub. The lid opens with you get close to it. 4 new AA batteries and it's back to norm.

Every school and all government offices closed yesterday for a 1-2" forecast that never arrived. Yep...we are in full Northern Alabama panick mode if a single flurry were to show.

we are in a world of mess, memphis shut down pretty much. 1.5 inches of snow...oh wait, i forgot, i am retired sitting here watchin these fools in memphis on tv.

It was 1 here this morning. At least we had a temp. I can't wait till March to come see you fellas.
