It has lift assist which is a lawn mower type recoil spring bolted to a collet below the power steering
If you want to run electronics (transducer) you CANNOT
I guess the ultrex is next option but looks like foot pedal is made to unit. Won't separate and is about 2300 retail

I wish they would fix the Universal Sonar and we wouldn't be fighting these issues every time we upgrade

I emailed Minn Kota about the newly renovated or upgraded "anchor" or "spot lock", asking if there would be a update version for the existing units?
I explained that their current attempt was a farce and when we as customers spend 1300 - 1800 dollars on something that the feature does not work, then they should have an update created for their current customers.
I was promptly replied to, thanked for the business and explained to like a idiot that they could not do that, it didn't make sense and if I wanted to purchase a brand new unit that they would gladly be of assistance. If not, then basically do not bother us.

My next trolling motor will be a motor guide, period.

Happy with mine so far. Only had it a few weeks. Should have bought one long ago.

Started out with a motor guide. The mount would rattle and clang ever time I gave it some power. Love my terrova, quiet as a mouse.

I made a 360 mount with a push button lift for my terrova about four years ago once you stand it up you push a button raise and lower the tm and when you need to move to a new location leave it standing up and at the end of the day lay it down an pull it to transport position.
The lifting kit is "BOW MOUNT LIFT" had to make it fit my 360 mount. The system has worked flawlessly.

I use a Lowrance DI unit on the front of my boat & I simply ran the wire down the groove in the shaft. Lots of videos on how to do it. Didn't take long at all. Used black Silicone to hold it in the groove. Not sure mine is the newest model. I found it on sale at Cabelas about a month ago.
