Ihave been told that rat poison will stunt your growth. How far back was a few years? sweet Melissa would not do that , --------------------------would she ?

I've always heard that it was the thought that counts. At least you remembered. I think I would carry her out to eat this weekend just to be on the safe side. But don't round up a bunch of your clothes and tell her to give it a test run.
