It must take someone real special to backlash a bait caster when using it for spider rigging. I mean, you're not casting with them are you? I would assume you would just be pulling line out by hand with a long pole setup.

Lots of special folks in the world. When I was running baitcasters, folks would show up and their eyes would be big as saucers with fear. I would let them know we weren't casting but it made no difference. First bite or hang up, they grab at the reel, bump the thumb bar button and set the hook! :bash
