I've never had a bad experience with any of the Sippi wardens. Been checked numerous times and all were nice and friendly. Just doing their jobs like we all do ours.
I did have a friend put a 12 1/8 in the ice and it shrank to 11 7/8. He got a ticket, but the warden flipped the fish over trying to make it legal. Wasn't the wardens fault the fish shrank and my friend gladly paid the fine. I told him the fish would be short if it was on ice, but he didn't listen. He learned a good lesson and took his punishment like he should have. The GW was courteous and friendly the whole time, and I think he honestly wanted to help the guy out by flipping the fish over to see if it would make it on the opposite side. Yes, some fish will be longer on one side than the other.
