Running your Terrova 80 at 1.5mph into the wind, say 8/10mph takes a setting of 6-7 or more on your gauge. 6 to 8 hrs is all you are going to get. This includes going with the wind 1/2 of the time. My 2cents

Prolly a good theory too
One thing I used to do before I got a 36 volt was hang a hand control motor on the back for a kicker, this will all depend on room for an extra battery. Lock the hand control motor straight forward and turn it on at a medium speed, run using it till the battery for it played out and then run only on my Terrova. Worked like a charm.
My group 31 Exides would run my 80# Terrova for about 7 hours at 1.6 average with moderate wind when they were new. Now at two years old I'm lucky to get 3.5-4, less with 10 mph wind. If I can figure out where and how, I'm installing these two Trojan 1275 today. I'll report how they do while new.
O, well, maybe the acid won't leak out before I can get them in the boat.
So, when I got the Exides out the sticker says shipped in 2013. I haven't had them that long, but as the frog says, my how times fun when you are having flies.
the Trojan has the same foot print, just about 1 1/8 inches taller.
i sure have to put my thinking cap on, but u can bet they will be connected to the TM.
good grief. They loaded them for me and now I'm trying to pick them up and get them in the boat. I may need help, they are at least 25-30 pounds heavier. At least they feel like it..
now i can see what your sayin

They weigh right at 100 pounds, I slipped putting one in the Cat one time and when the dust cleared I looked like I had been on the loosing end on a fight.

I know they way too heavy for me.. Glad my number two son stopped by at the right time.
Gene, Be careful, I know how old you are. That's what the sons are for. I envy anybody that can troll all day in this heat- 112 heat factor today.
I will Scott, thx. I also envy someone that can stay out there too. I'm just shooting for 4 or so hours and I'm sure these new bats will do that. And too, I think they will tire me out later when it cools off some.
I tx the son and said ' what's going on' and he said he was coming by to see how I was. I said u must be clairvoyant
Trojan all the way here gene. Mine are 2 years old and still troll as long as I want to fish just ask Reese guide.
