Default lakes and gators in the delta

I got gator tags this year. I've never fished any of the lakes in the west-central zone and was hoping y'all might be able to help with some info on lake depths, ramps etc.

I'm looking right now at places like Lake George, Bee Lake, Big Sunflower River, Yazoo River, and maybe Little Eagle lake. Do those places have pretty good places to launch? Some of the places look pretty small. Little Eagle Lake doesn't look like much on the map or satellite. Lake George looks like you could get lost in it even with a GPS.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has fished those areas. Are they deep enough this time of year? Decent launches? Have you seen any gators while fishing them or would i be better off looking someplace else?

    Thanks

Lake Jackson down south of Greenville. Launches are crap, gators are there. I didn't get drawn or I would be in there

are they gravel/mud ramps? Or concrete? I saw one in a video yesterday where they were backing the transom through 2 feet of mud. I need to avoid that kind of stuff!

Lake Jackson is private. You can't hunt anything on it.

Correct. Fishing only. No state maintained ramps

Last time I went to Little Eagle, a durned gator was laying across the concrete ramp and refused to move. I went to Bee that day. Little Eagle has a pretty nice concrete ramp.
