    Does anyone know when the black berries get right ? I have a ton of them still red only a few that are ready to pick

    They get ripe in July-August, depending on rain and other factors, Donald. Keep watching 'em....they're gettin' close! Like Rees said, defend yourself with repellent. They are chigger heaven!

    stormcloud, I looked online. Gold lids are hard to find in Ball. May have to look at Golden Harvest or Kerr. Might be wrong, I think Kerr and Ball are the same company now.
    Here's what I found.
