thinking about going to arkabutla in the morning,have never been there before.What ramp should i use and any pointer welcome,thanks

I normally use Hernando Point or Bayou Point.....Depending on the wind. Hernando Point has a boat dock you can pull up to without having to beach your boat, if your by yourself. Good Luck!!

You're not supposed to use that dock, it's private property of the sail club. Never seen them object though. Kind of hard for some folks to walk the 2x6 gang plank to get out on it.

I use to frame houses, so walking that 2x10 that is there ain't nuttn.....LOL

Still plenty of fish, but finding a spot is the hard part. I haven't been. Just don't need the fish. Don't blame the guys that are going though. I'd rather wait and catch 3 pounders in the early spring.

It's freezer filler season now though.
