    Default Onboard chargers

Will a 315 charge big batteries from completely dead to full within say 10 hours or so? Seen a good deal on a 315 and wasn't sure if it would or not

The 315 is three bank ...5 amp per bank for a total of 15 amps. It wont do what you want. I use a 330...three bank 10 amps per bank and it does fine. A 345 would do it even faster..three bank and 15 amps per bank.

Kinda answered my own question this morning!! I had one battery that didn't get charged all the way Friday night, I put a 10 amp on it last night that didn't even charge it all the way!! Over 12 hours!

I put my 15 amp on last night about dark and they aren't fully charged this morning. When we pull them like we do it takes a lot of charging.

    NOCO Genius GEN3 30-Amp 3-Bank Onboard Battery Charger - Walmart.com

    Minn Kota Mk-330d 3 Bank X 10 Amps

Check these out. Seems good price at hodges on the minkota, and I have 2 friends that have the Genius chargers, one has 2 installed on his boat. They seem to be pretty good chargers and a lot smaller and lighter.
