    Default GARMIN ETREX

While at Tippah the other day they list a number of gravel beds that they placed for bream bedding areas . the N=34.78482, W=88.95612 . Question is this . when I get to the third number when entering on my Garmin the highest number that it will allow is 5 . my screen shows ( x=numbers) xx(degree sign) xx.xxx any clues as how to convert ?I was trying to enter the N cord.

I have an etrex that I use for geocaching. If I remember correctly, there are two different formats of gps coordinates - one like you posted and the other used on the Garmin. Google maps also does the decimal format like you posted. If you go to geocaching.com, I think there's a conversion utility.
