Use one and stick with it. I learned this the hard way several years ago. I was at Grenada and needed oil so I grabbed some other brand and poured in with yamalube, which I had always used.. About a week later I went to Barnett and alarm went off.. I quickly realized the transfer pump quit pumping. Took it to RJ's and he had me back going the next day. The oils I had mixed didn't mix... Insted they formed a thick sludge in the bottom of the oil tank and it was to thick to pump. They cleaned it out and all was well.
I listen to my boat mechanic, other than that once, and I do as he suggest.. I use yamalube and Yamaha ring free consistently and service my boat annually. It may cost me a little more than other stuff I could use, but it's a lot cheaper than a trip to the shop..
