Thanks guys, I'm tickled with it. Used to be the father in laws. He died 2 1/2 years ago of cancer and didn't drive it for a year while battling for his life. It mainly stayed in their shop for that time besides his son driving it to work every month or so to keep the batteries up and seals moist. Mother in law knew I fancied the truck and a few weeks ago offered it to me for 5k. I told her that a 2000 f250 supercab 7.3 with 92k miles was worth 3 times that. She said it was important to her that the truck went to someone who she knew and wanted it.

I put the snugtop camper shell on today. Found a used one at Camper City for 800.00 out the door installed. About a third of what new ones cost. If you are in the Memphis area or even North MS and need truck accessories give Clay a call at the Lamar location. It has been a long time since I have had someone that was easy to deal with on price and great service. I originally stopped by the Southaven store and the guy wouldn't budge on anything and wasn't too friendly either.

On a side note I went thru my first tank of diesel combined city/hwy got 18.9 mpg. Thought that was outstanding for a 9k pound truck.
