    Default New Tournament Strategy

With the horrible tournament season I've had so far this year, I've decided to change my pre fishing strategy. It may be Illegal to use in the tourneys on Tournament Day, but my pre fishing is headed in a New Direction. Be a fisherman and find fish.... thats all. I have had folks watch me and come fish close enough that i could spit on there boat. In my opinion thats not cool. There are tons of fish and tons of water in a lake. Dont come that close to me unless your invited. Common courtesy is few and far between now days.

I know BRM posted this as humor, and it's quite funny. I agree with Erin, had this happen on Grenada in mid March also. Me and my buddy located a good spot (no one around for a half a mile at least) about 3' of water with several trees and brush piles. He was fishing the one to the rear of the boat and I was fishing the one off the front, we caught several off each pile and planned to move towards the few to the 9 o' clock position of the boat. Out of no where I see a boat zipping towards us making a bee line for our location. Three boys in the boat two of which jumped out the boat like Bo and Luke Duke in waders and started hitting the piles we were working around too, this was within 20 feet of us. I was scratching my head, until I noticed the third guy in the boat scanning the horizon in between bites of his honey bun. They caught several fish and we're on there way, nothing illegal about it maybe a little laziness is all. It's a public lake and guess you can expect that from some people. I don't carry binoculars personally, I focus on my own poles to intensely. Too each his own, I reckon

I only use mine for tying on new jigs. Just after miraculously coming up with a color that they are biting.
