    Default Great Crappie Mount

My friend and taxidermist Allen Dykes owner of Backland Taxidermy in Grenada sent me a picture of this mount today. It's not mine, but I tried to con him out of it.

Great Job Allen. Them some Hawgs.

    Default Great Crappie Mount

I ask Allen why the fish looked blue. He said it was the lighting. The fish look natural Green/ blue in person. The camera accented the blue on them.

Allen is the best crappie guy I've found anywhere. He makes them look as close to real as you can get. Look at the color difference on my fish. Top one is Washington dingy water. The bottom is Grenada lightly stained water.

That's the first time I've ever seen crappie without a can of Mountain Dew with them. Why didn't he mount a can of that too?
