With just any bandage. I had to get the "Cadillac" package bandage, with batteries, suction pumps, and self sealing seals! Wonder what that's gonna run me? Figure Bill could have fixed me up real nice for less!

Oh, btw. I really do know what being gutted like a fish feels like now. Took a mass of mesh and bowel about the size of a Dixie ice cream bowl!!!

Yep. But this was about a hernia repair from about 15 years ago. Mesh was used to strengthen incision area. That mesh had grown into my small bowel, and the blood supply and fatty tissue from that part of my abdomen was unable to be deprecated. The mesh had eventually put a kink or a blockage in the intestine. Only way to fix it was to cut out the entire mess. Bowel, mesh, blood supply and adipose tissue. Thought I was going to die on Wednesday. Did not. Thank the Good Lord.
