Not much progress on the camper floor. The old elevator bolts don't want to come out. No head for a wrench so I use vise grips on the threads below the nut. 3/8" bolt trimmed down to 3/16" and nut not moving. New vise grips that are shot.
I did get 2 bolts removed so I could add supports to the steel frame. The longest 3/8" elevator bolts are 3" and to short. Need 3/4" more for washer, lock washer and nut.
I bought 30 of the Arkie Rigs today. 5 packs of 1/2, 5 packs of 3/4, and 5 of the 1oz.
This has been a informative post for me since I'm about to drop some change on a bunch of C&C rigs at about 43cents each. Now I don't know which rig I want. All opinions appreciated.
E-bay has great prices on them- Fas snaps and Duo lock snaps
At .43 each, the C&C rigs do come ready to use and are a great deal. Might be a good idea to get some of each. You will have to tie drops on the Arkie.Quote:
