Once the knot at the back of the loop is tightened down, you can cut the loop to make a single line just like the drop coming off of the three way swivel.Quote:

I've done that a few times. End up with the bait wrapped with the sinker.
I usually tie a Fas Snap in the loop and leave it. Never had an issue either way tho.Quote:

I always make loops but I don't cut em. I just push the end of the loop thru my snap and pull it over and tight. I have noticed no appreciable difference in having double lines vs cutting and having a single line.
Only problem i have with the loops is seems like it weakens the line. If its going to break its going to break at the loop! I have had better luck with swivels
