Juet got home. Doc said it went well. They did a tube shunt.
She's feeling pretty rough with body aches but seems to be well. Will be back in the morning at 9am for a post op and see where she'll go from there. Probability be a couple days of weeks before she can do 100% normal stuff. Thanks again for all the prayers and keep em coming.

Post op was good. Eye pressure is low (which is normal at first) she has a decent black eye (I didn't do it) and is very uncomfortable and on edge (has to be careful putting drops in)
The surgery went well and basically is now up to her eye to heal properly. Will be a good 6 to 8 weeks worth. Again thanks for all the prayers.

So today pressure is still low so she is now taking oral steroids. I see a fun 9 days in my future lol.
As of yesterday the eye pressure was up 1 point to 5. It's a good sign but still a ways to go but the steriods are doing their job in reliving inflammation. The doc said everything is moving back now as it should (low pressure makes all the structures in the eye move forward) She has anotger week of touchy at a minimum but the doc feels good at the moment. This whole process of stablizing and healing could take about 6 months but after yesterday Melissa is a bit more at ease so that's a good thing. Thanks again to each and everyone of you my friends from Crappie.com for the prayers and support . It is very much appreciated. Oh and if Slabin sends you a christmas pic---prepare yourself first--it's epic.

Well went back Thursday and the pressure was going up as it should but had to make an emergency run this morning due to a lot of irritation. Turns out the skin has pulled through a couple of the stitches during it's healing. Go back Tuesday and see how it is. Doc said if it pulls back too much more they will go back in and stitch it up again with heavier and more stitches. Again thanks all for the continued prayers.

She's doing lots better. Had alot of discomfort Christmas eve but was a bit better yesterday. Go back Thursday and hopefully the skin hasn't pulled back anymore (thought that may be the case the other day) but she's feeling better spirit wise so maybe she's out of the woods. Thanks again everyone for all the prayers it definitely works.
