Yea the road to choctaw landing is super rough. Unless they have done something to it since spring. You can put in at graysport and save your truck and trailer.Quote:

You know... I grew up fishing Grenada. Dad had a 14 foot john and we went all over that lake. I never even realized till I was an adult that all lakes were not like Grenada.Quote:

Good news. I've avoided it because it was so rough as others have also noted.
Much rather go to Choctaw than Piney Woods when the water is hihh, hate that road going into the state park. Torrence I'd open for business now too!!
I used Piney Woods a lot before I got the bigger boat. I don't go there when the water drops to 206.
Piney is my favorite landing when water is high.
