I got 3 1/8" in the gauge during that short shower. I could see a small river down the hillside on both sides of the house.

Yesterday morning a crew backs the truck and trailer down the hillside to build a 20'X20' carport. The trailer has a 24'X40'x17' garage kit on it too. They got here at 10:30 and said we should be finished in 45 minutes to an hour. The rain started and they spent most of the day in the truck and finished in the light rain.
The 4 wheel drive truck wouldn't move when they went to leave. I got the tractor and tried to pull them out. Nope, had to pull the truck and then the trailer. They left at 5:30.
The garage was to be built at Sardis. Instead they haul it back to Jackson, TN.

Dang, That is scary. Hope you have some good flood insurance with this crazy weather we're having these days. Glad you stayed high and dry!
