whatever happened to catfish patterson, one time that was dance's go to guy for catfishin on the sippi river. i ran into him a couple of times just north of the mckeller lake entrance on the river. he was bout the best in this neck of the woods at that time

He's still guiding and fishing, but he doesn't do tournaments anymore.

He knows the river as well as anyone around.

I use to go after cats on the river for show. I use to bring home some good size eaters for a dinner. We can't eat them anymore so why fish for them.
