Son had to work Saturday so we didn't get to go crappie fishing so we ended up going to pickwick and catfishing above the dam last night.I love being on the river at night. We didn't do any good which is rare for me up there. But did find a few new spots.

Now what do y'all think these fish were?

Wat do you look for when trying to find places or spots to catfish up there? I can't ever seem to catch any catfish up at pickwick

Could be stripers and cats feeding on the skipjack at the top. Longer marks are probably suspended cats.

The skipjack are smaller right now according to my catfish guys.

Right now they are on the deep ledges Close to main channel . 23 to 35 ft seem to be the best for average size blues last month. Friday night they wouldn't bite anything. We have had better luck this year during the day it seems like
