That's the only thing that scares me on the 6.7. Something goes wrong with the fuel system there's a 20+k repair bill. On the 6.0 it's only 2k for all 8 sticks :)

:Rofl What I said first time I heard this. 7.3s and apparently 6.0s fuel injection is run off of oil pressure. Low oil pressure and they wont crank or run, bad orings around the injectors will cause a miss as the cylinder will not get any fuel. Its a strange design but a very efficent one and it is a protective one, you can't run em out of oil, they will quit due to lack of oil pressure and still have 7 or so quarts of oil in them. Also, if you go too long between oil changes and the oil breaks down you lose performance because of a lower oil pressure. 7.3 powerstroke without oil pressure is scrapmetal!!!
I fuel it, maintain it, run it.....and that sucker flat out will run!
Very cool. It's amazing what these 8000lb trucks can do. And the best part is to get more it only takes a bit of computer tuning :)
While on vacation this week I needed a tire for the camper. So a visit to a walmart. 5 quart jug of my oil was $18, 1 quart bottle was $2.19. I bought 3 cases.
Wally world does have the best prices on oil. Rotella 5w40 here. Almost 4 gallons at a time :)
