    Anybody know if the catfish are biting around hurricane landing? If and when I go and cant get on the crappie id like to switch over and try and catch a few cats...

    Don't know but with all this fresh water it would bet they are.

    go in June, when the rock at the Indian mound gets covered with water, fish on top or around . Get all you want .

    Should be able to put straight into the river at the new boat ramp on hwy 7. Tightline some stink bait or worms on the bottom in the current of the river.....

    Caught some nice humpbacks in Tobby two weeks ago jigging. They eat pretty good

    A lot of mud on the ramp right now. Seems like every river rise drops more mud. Ramp should be good this summer at around 260' when the river settles down.

    I have put in at the ramp on 7 when the water gets up real high and run lines and we have wore them out!! never caught any on rod and reel though
