Default Any of ya'll have this problem with the terrova?

On my skeeter boat, it seems like the terrova clears the roller by millimeters. I know about the Mk sliding bracket.....I have it on my Wareagle boat on another Terrova and don't like it... it seems to have too much wiggle and play between the plates. I also know about steeper landings, are more of a problem. Backing down too far is also a problem, but my skeeter won't back off using the outboard until it is a tad deeper in the water, thus making the terrova more prone to hitting the roller. Have not had any damage yet, but trying to avoid it. Thoughts? Thanks!

I actually could have put it a little further to the side.

Thanks, G.........on a V front bass boat, it has to be parallel with the top of the rail I think. Similar to this pic.

Drill some more holes in the mounting bracket on the tm is about the only thing I can think of... Mine is close, but even on the steep oxbow ramps I havent had any issues yet. May have Jinxed myself, but we had to drill new holes as the stock holes did not fit on the rails or clear the support braces...

Duck, call E-Z. He mounted one o T mans boat couple of years ago. Had to make a aluminum mounting plate to mount to hull the motor to mount. For the same reason. It's not if but when you hit that roller and bust those side covers. I made a plate to offset mine like G has his.

Cray, not playing hard to please, lol. But I already have a special mounting plate between the motor and hull.
