I added a roller to my trailer to keep the boat from dropping down so far when I unload it. Learned the hard way before broke off some plastic on the TM cover It's one of those narrow rollers that comes with the adjustable bracket , I need to make my own bracket to fine tune

This keeps the front of the boat elevated long enough for the TM to clear the V roller before the boat drops as it slides in the water.
Abe, I had the exact same problem with my Ranger. I finally added the MKA-47 quick release. It seems that it's going to work but time will tell
I have the same problem going to make me a 3 inch tall aluminum block same size of bottom of tm to raise it up will also make it easier to lower and raise.
I've got a mka-47 and have no play. It has a thumbscrew to tighten down which may help some. I only slide it back on my aluminum boat when unloading. Loading is fine.
