Looks some like center pivot parts. Appears the pipes extend about 6ft out from the center with a total length of about 10 or 12 feet. Let me get back to you on this one after I think abit.

there's another one I just noticed at34degrees09'02.0"N 88degrees46'42.2"W Must have something to do with field irrigation. I don't see a rover on any of the fields close to it.I was looking at TENN/TOM and just happened to run across it!

Seen them made out of both. Most I've seen in the Yazoo basin are made of wood and built like a wall. Been a few years since I have worked in the Teen-Tom area but I think I remember them made out of steel or wood. Not really sure why they are made that way, but I think it catches debris to form something like a wall.Originally Posted by SlabLapper4sure
They were put there to keep the stream from cutting into the bank and taking out the farm fields. The steam wants to naturally meander instead of going straight. That is want give us these nice oxbows to fish.
