Default Front of boat Transducer mount?

I had my transducer running down my trolling motor and broke it off on a stump last year. Any alternatives to running it down the trolling motor? I didn't even have it on because I was in shallow water but of course had my trolling motor running.

Buy yourself a Transducer Shield and Saver. Most likely will repair a broken transducer and for sure the best way to protect it in the future.
