    Default Hornet's nest

Found this abandon nest at the cabin. Shot the limb off it was hanging on. Y'all no anyone that has ever preserved and repaired a nest? The bottom fell out when we caught it. Gonna make a cool addition to the cabin if I can fix it. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1420078972.564369.jpg

I dont think there is much you can do with it now that its torn up. I have one hanging up out in my shop.....its been there for about twenty five years. I sprayed it with three coats of clear shellac.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Maybe research doing paper mache. Little water, glue, and newspaper, pack inside and push back together. Should hold?

Turned out pretty good. Contact cement adhesive spray and some wooden stick to pin it for some strength Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1420983739.373476.jpg

Turned out nice. Did you spray it with a clear coat? Looks to have a shine on it.
