My Tennessee Titans pick #2 in the NFL draft and I'm hoping they don't pick that idiot. Maybe Tampa will pick the Florida golden boy and the Titans can pick Mariota. We shall see. GTT

Depends a lot on them background checks them teams do. May not go as high as most people think. Been waiting on a civil suit from the girl that he supposedly raped. Guess lawyers waiting until he gets a big payday.

I don't really care for teams that can't shake hands after a tuff defeat.
some days you win, some days you lose, and some days it rains... But you always shake hands after the game.
    Here fishy, fishy, fishy...

Sportsmanship is swiftly becoming a thing of the past. Fans are worse than players lots of the time!! Booing has become common place and I for one dont like it period, its classless and has no place in sports unless its toward the referees, thats their roll. Booing opposing players or even your own team is low down and says a lot for the character of those involved. Quit going to college basketball games because of it, takes away from the game.

I don't really care for Winston as far as the bad press goes. But just looking at skill set, I think he'd be a better Pro QB than Mariota. I started thinking about what Nick Saban had to say the other day about all these young kids making mistakes. All the press paints a bad picture becuase its "headline news" wants them kicked out of school, thrown in jail, etc. His point was they are still young and make mistakes. Do you want them in school or out on the streets? Made a lot of sense in regards to second chances. As far as Winston raping that girl, it was found to be consenual sex. Now all of you who were virgins out there until you were married might have an issue with that, but it is what it is in todays society.

If the public would stop treating these 11 year old kids with major talent, like they belong on a pedestal, they may not have this problem. Doesn't matter what color they are, they all get it. $250 pairs of tennis shoes, sweatsuits and team jerseys that cost outlandish money. Finding their parents phony jobs to get their kid into their school systems so they can play on their high school teams. Some of these kids are even born into big money families. They feel they can do anything they want cause their family will bail them out. By the time they're 17, they expect this special treatment. Coaches recruiting them to major collages promise them they'll be millionaires in two years and they are. They don't worry about education because they NEVER had too. They turn pro and the public pays unreal prices for tickets to watch them play a game. They're paid unreal salaries and then the public complains about how they play a game for $150 million for a 6 or 8 year contract. You're still going to the games. You even buy season tickets that are outrageously priced. And i'm including baseball in this. Jeeze, they make more in 5 seasons than most people make in a whole lifetime. But people still go to the games. Think about who created this mess. I'm not directing this at anyone personally, so please don't take it that way. Just stating the facts. I guess i'm contributing too. I bought the sports package from my cable company so I can watch games at a really economical price. Not spending $500 to take a couple kids to a single game when I can watch the whole season for $50.

Money, greed and some of the backwards mentality we have in the USA. Those playing a game making the most money and we have teachers barely making it. And you and I screw up at work and we're likely out of a job. Most of the pros have guaranteed money regardless of performance. But reality is only a very small % of those college athletes will ever make big time---but a lot of them think they will and don't learn at school. Which is why so many end up with problems.

Glad fishing season is just around the corner!
