Yes Sir, I'll take him in a heartbeat...I trained my sons, and all the Grandsons to hunt... Now am by myself... I can promise you that ANY day you can spend with your Son is a day to be treasured.
Well..,it was a close one at the end. Was putting up my stuff to leave and reached for my gun and a 16" 8 point walked out at 40 yards. Luckily, it walked out on me and not my son, else he'd have been toast. On the upside, the afternoon was much better fishing weather. Attachment 184329Attachment 184330

Wannabe he wouldn't have made it with me there either. Been thinking about learning how to make those long shots 400-500 yds. That way I can shoot the ones I see in good times stand.

I get some of my best rest sitting in a blind in the rain, all rested up for deer camp. It always seems like when I open my eyes there is always a deer standing in front of me. My snoring must be one heck of a deer call.
