Default Trolling motor that is controlled with a remote...???

what is a basic 12 volt trolling motor that i can look into purchasing that is controlled with just a remote? I think im on the right track when i say ipilot is what im looking for? Id love to be able to have a trolling motor mounted at the bow and be able to operate from my seat in the back of the boat. I have a tiller steer boat and my front deck doesnt have a lot of room to fish on and i think a trolling motor than can be controlled with a remote would fit me perfect, however ive never saw one in action before only saw pics on here.

suggestions for a 1652 jon boat?

What G said but I would recommend a 24 volt if you have room for two batteries.

I have the Terrova 55 12 volt with Ipilot on my stick steer. I go to back of boat to longline and pull cranks. Works just fine. I do run 2 battery's but really not necessary unless pulling cranks all day.

I have room for two batteries no problem. The problem im having right now is my optima barely has enough clearance to fit under my deck therefore its not buckled or strapped down. Im trying to figure out how i want to strap that bad boy down because its not working the way i have it. It looks like im going to have to move it out from under the front deck and just have it out in the open

Only if your wanting to water ski. The 55 will work fine on that size of boat. A 24 would be great but its really not needed

Unless you're planning to pull crankbaits. Then get the 24v.
