Default In need of golf cart batteries

I bought a Club Car that is a 48V cart, 6 of the 8 volt batteries. Prolly crazy for doing this, but I did it anyway. I could use some help in locating batteries at a reasonable price. Thx in advance..

These folks are the ones that carry the cart batts like a lot of have been running in our boats. Ask about blems, some times they have them.

E-Z check Sam's. When I was looking at them they seemed to have comparable pricing and decent warranty. Like Ree's said if you can fain day battery store sometimes they will have blems with pretty good discounts.

We used to get one year old batts from Bobb Ladd in Memphis. There is an EZ GO dealer in pearl that might have some take outs

How do you tell if it's an 8 volt battery? I was at Sam's today, I saw 6 and 12 volt golf cart batteries.

Thanks everyone for your help. I've checked with everyone I can think of as well as these suggestions. I'm just not ready to spend that kinda $ right now. I'm waiting on some seconds or slightly used ones, and I'll keep checking back for those.
normally, on wet cell batteries they have two volts per cell. 3 cells=6 volts, 4 cells= 8, etc..

Battery Sales and Service has them new for 157 if you pick em up with a core. That ain't much for the best battery you can get. I sell em for 200 installed. You want the US Battery 12v golf cart battery.

Even at my retail price, they are MUCH better than the Optima or the Trojan, and at least 50-75 bux less PER BATTERY.

Oh yeah, at my price, I will deliver and install. In need of golf cart batteries
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.

OK...Somebody explain to me why you would use golf cart batteries in your boat. I am not questioning that it is a good idea. I just want to understand what the benefits are. Size? Price? Charge time? Power?

Gimme the lowdown, John! Or BRM. Or E-Z.
    Somebody? Anybody?
