Ours had a round nose, but it was a workhorse. I was 6 when we moved to Whitehaven. My dad bought it used the next year. I don't remember what happened to it.
Revell Outdoor Power in Pearl has a machine very similar to this one in their store. Their mechanic completely restored it from the ground up. Looks brand new. Stop by and check it out some time. Brings back memories.
My Dad and Grandad both had David Bradley units that were very similar set-up. I used to hate to hear that thing crank up because I knew I was fixin to be in the garden or tobacco patch for something. Picked up truck loads of potatoes behind them.
