I called Brian at BBG marine and Ed Dukes at SouthernCrappieRods to personally thank them for their donations. Both seemed genuinely surprised that I did but thrilled with the call. I would challenge each of you that won a prize to pick up the phone and call the vendor who furnished the prize that you won. In talking to these folks you would be surprised how many of them will tell you they never receive a thank you call after they send out merchandise. Brian has a very limited advertising budget to spread out over a lot of Bass clubs and Crappie clubs. We were fortunate that Ree's got him to donate. Same with Ed at SouthernCrappieRods he has no budget for advertising, and both of these guys are a one man show. It only takes a couple of minutes out of your day to say thank you.
