What about the US troops who are there at ground zero fighting the outbreak? If any of them should become infected should we just leave them there to die??nonono I mean they did volunteer to join the military, and they get paid, albeit no were near enough for the job they do. I have a feeling if someone you cared for was infected your feelings would change.
Guys, I posted this because i thought it was kinda funny............not trying to start a heated debate, lol.
The compromise would be to send help to them. Not risk bringing it to the US. Its just a disaster waiting to happen. Not to mention someone that might have it w/o knowing and coming thru the Airports and everywhere else before finding out. Scary situation. That guy the other day lied about who he had been in contact with and now some 50 people or so are under watch/quarantine, etc.
Im a medical professional myself.... and I feel the same way! Ultimately, everyone has a choice, and which choice you make, you are personally responsible for the reprocussions. Unfortunately these days most Americas dont feel as if they should be held resonsible for their actions. I wonder where this idea came from. Im and American! And will accept reprocussions of my actions. Its the way I was raised, and the way I will raise my 2 year old son. No way I would leave the US....EVER. lol. Risk wouldnt be worth the reward. I have been out west and all over and have realized, a man can go on as many vacations he can afford and never see the same thing twice, unless he chose to, without ever having to leave the United States of America. Dont see why anyone would want to personally.
By the way, Im not near as mad/or upset as my last post may sound. Just putting my point of view out there.
