My planers won't hold up a 3 or 4 oz weight and push a crank. Does that tadpole weigh anything, or is it just the size of the thing that dives it?
It has some weight....works with the large planer boards....I have not tried the mini boards yet.
They have the dive charts on the Off Shore website
The size 2 doesn't weigh 2 ounces does it?Quote:

We do it all the time.....sometimes with RR's but other things a lot also.....truth be known we usually run doubles when pulling crankbaits......caught our biggest fish in Lee on Friday pulling a crank with a RR above it....caught the fish on the crank that time. We usually use a 48 inch spacing. Just don't put a deep diver on top, LOL! Can also put a snap weight (OR-16 clip) in the middle if need to.

We do use 2 oz Torpedo weights with OR-16 clips a lot....very little drag and they keep the bait down excellent for power trolling.
