I was thinking......Concerning Crappie Masters Tournaments...

I was just thinking that maybe we get ourselves more involved in Crappie Masters Tournaments. I'm not talking about directly, but indirectly as members here on Crappie.com. It might be fun. What if I were to provide our own prizes for those members that participate in the Crappie Masters kinda like this. If crappie.com members A, B and C place 4th, 12th and 24th, then they win separate Crappie.com specific prizes here. You know what I mean.

Of course members would have to kinda pre-register here to tell us they are participating in an upcoming CM tournament. This way too, we would know all who is participating in an event, and we could follow the results. I think this is kinda a good idea. Be like watching our team playing in sports and rooting them on! Thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea to me.
I know some members by name, first name mostly. With participates registering here as their name and/or team will be listed would help.
Maybe adding a space on the profile for first name. Some members may want to list last name too.
Maybe red flagging your entry if not more of location than state is entered.
Just my rant.

I like the idea too, met several that were crappie.com members but couldn't tell you their screne name or real name for that matter after meeting them, know I met RCC but cant remember his name. There were a good many, maybe even half the field had C.C connections.

RCC's name is Randall. And I did the same thing, met some folks and didn't realize they were C.C folks. I thought no it's a good idea to do something to recognize everyone and maybe a patch or something to put on a shirt sleeve. I've got a C.C hat, but I have to wear my lucky hat win fishing! LOL
